CPT Albert Park
APMS (Executive Officer)
Captain Albert Park was commissioned in 2005 from California State University, Fullerton as a Quartermaster Officer. His first assignment was with the Special Troops Battalion V Corps in Heidelberg, Germany as the Battalion S4 and deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom IV in Baghdad, Iraq from Jan-Dec 2006 as the Headquarters Commandant OIC of the Multi-National Corps and Multi-National Force-Iraq. Upon redeploying, Captain Park was assigned to the 173d Airborne Brigade Combat Team in Bamberg, Germany serving as the Company Executive Officer of Alpha Company, 173d Brigade Support Battalion. Captain Park then deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom VIII in Jalalabad and Korengal Valley, Afghanistan from May 2007-Aug 2008. Captain Park’s next assignment was with the 82nd Airborne Division where he commanded Bravo Company, 407th Brigade Support Battalion of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team (Falcons). In 2010, Captain Park deployed his company to Port-au-Prince, Haiti in support of Operation Unified Response, providing humanitarian aid and support amidst the earthquake torn country. After 18-months of command, Captain Park served as the Brigade Budget Officer, where after a rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, deployed to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn II in ar Ramadi, Iraq from May – November 2011. After OND, Captain Park finished his time in the 82nd as the Brigade Assistant S4. CPT Park is currently an Assistant Professor of Military Science, the Operations and Executive Officer for the Wolverine Battalion at the University of Michigan.
Captain Park’s schools include the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Sling Load Inspectors Certification Course, Basic Airborne Course, Combined Logistics Captains Career Course, Army Combatives Level I, Rappel Certification Course, and the Instructors Training Course. His awards include the Parachutist Badge, Combat Action Badge, and the German Parachutist Badge.
