Wolverine Cadets pursue a broad spectrum of academic fields, encompassing subjects like Economics and Mechanical Engineering, alongside a wide variety of clubs, extra-curriculars, and sports.

Cadet Spotlights

Cadet Sam Roberts

Cadet Roberts is a junior studying at Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Within ROTC, he is active in Color Guard and Recruiting, competes on the Ranger Challenge team, and recently served as the Cadet Command Sergeant Major for the Wolverine Battalion. Over the summer, he successfully completed Cadet Field Training and Air Assault School at the United States Military Academy in New York. Outside of ROTC, he is active within his social fraternity and is an Editor for the Michigan Intelligence and Security Review, a policy publication based in the Ford School. Upon graduation, he hopes to commission Active Duty as a Logistics Corps Officer.

Cadet Lily Haghpassand

Cadet Haghpassand is a senior studying Biochemistry. After graduation, she will attend medical school to eventually become an Army doctor. She recently served as the Wolverine Battalion’s Battalion Commander and was selected as one of the top ROTC Cadets across the country to attend the George C. Marshall Awards & Leadership Seminar. Over the summer, she successfully completed Air Assault School at Fort Benning, Georgia. Outside of ROTC, she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and chemistry instructor and actively participates in biochemistry research at the University.
