Enrollment Pathways
Freshman / Traditional Path/ High school Seniors
If you’re joining the University as a Freshman, just graduated High School, or have at least four years left of college, you are eligible to take the traditional ROTC path by enrolling in MILSCI 100. Also see ROTC Scholarship information.
Compress / Accelerated Path
If you have Sophomore standing or at least three years left of college (graduate students included), you are eligible for the compressed course by enrolling in MILSCI 100 and MILSCI 200 simultaneously. See more about Pathways to ROTC.
Basic Camp
If you have Junior standing or at least two years left of college (graduate students included), you are eligible to attend Basic Camp and enroll directly in MILSCI 300.
Prior Service/ Green to Gold (G2G)/ Simultaneous Membership program (SMP)
Whether you’re a Prior Service, pursuing the Green to Gold program, or joining through the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), Army ROTC offers a path to build on your experience, develop as a leader, and earn your commission as an Army Officer.
